This year our neighborhood participated in a "Good Neighbor Food Drive". A couple in our subdivision heard about a need that local food banks were having during this difficult economic time and decided to do something about it. All we had to do was place non-perishable food items in a bag and leave it by your mailbox and they picked it up. Yesterday was our food day and I saw the volunteers picking up lots of items!
