Superheros to the Rescue!

We decided it was best for Kate not to go door to door trick or treating last night. However, she really wanted to and could not understand why she couldn't. We did let them dress up and hand out candy.

This is the best shot I could get of them. Superman has a HUGE bruise on the middle of his forehead. The other day, I was getting him ready to take to school and he wanted to play, so he took off running and trip and hit his head on the corner of the door. A HUGE bruise and bump popped up and all I could think about was...oh no, now he will have to be in the hospital. But he stopped crying within like 2 mins and started playing again. But the bruise is still there. Poor guy. Kate really wanted to be a spider, but I could not find her a spider costume, so she settled for "spidergirl".
Here they are handing out candy.
Here are some friends of ours who live down the street. Their kids are so cute, but I love Charles' costume. If you watch Saturday Night Live, you will get it.
Hope you had a good Halloween, don't eat too much candy!

I have to say that I am so glad that Kate is feeling better. I thought of you for the entire week and I just cannot imagine how difficult that was!! I love the costumes!! And I love that someone else cannot get their kids to look at the camera - sometimes I think that mine are the only ones :)
