I can't believe it's March already. The year is flying by and my kids are growing up. Case in point: we went to a skating party this weekend -Kate was so excited to go skating. We put her skates on and Luke took his shoes off and waited patiently for his skates. The smallest skate they had was a size 8, a few sizes bigger than what he wears, so I wasn't going to put him in any...he wasn't having any of that. I went and got him a pair.

Check out the walker they provide for small kids. It was so awesome! Why didn't they have those when I was a kid? Or now for that matter.
Luke loved for John to skate around with him. He wanted to give me a high five when he skated by.
We had a really good time and looking forward to skating again!

i'm very impressed. those are real skates. nick went to a skate party 2 wks back and he had those plastic ones where the wheels only go in one direction. not that i'm complaining or anything.
