We went to St. Louis for 4th of July. We went last year and had a good time. Our friend Kirk went with us. We missed the Winberrys...they couldn't make it this year because they went Cabo....

The weather was beautiful and our hotel was right next to the arch. We enjoyed all the 4th of July activities.

First up, the Parade. Kate & Luke liked it. It was a movie theme, and they had "The Little Mermaid" float and Kate was so excited that she got to see Ariel.

After the parade, we went over to the arch to watch the air show. These monkeys were not playing well. They were hot and tired. We went back to the hotel and took a nap.

Headed over to the arch to watch the John Legend concert then fireworks. The weather wasn't too hot, it was really nice.

Looking for the perfect spot to put our blanket down.

The natives were restless.

The next day we rode the carriage ride and played in the fountains.

We also went to the Magic House, the kids loved it. It's has all these different activities they can do. Really a neat concept. We will be going back there. We didn't see all of it and I felt like we were there all day.

Had to get a "pirate pose" smile.

Luke is fishing here. Once you caught your fish, you could 'release' it up stream and watch it travel back to the pond.

They had a baby nursery. Kate and Luke both loved this area. Kate called her baby - "Baby Levi".

Luke was suctioning his baby's nose out. Just like we do him. So cute. Then he rocked it and was singing to it. I could not get him to leave this room.

Kate at their "bank" making a deposit.

They also had a grocery store, a restaurant, a library, a tire repair shop, ice cream shop, a kitchen, that was some of the areas we really enjoyed.

Our only family picture.

Luke has firecrackers on his outfit. So cute!

On our way to watch the fireworks. Lots of people this night. Check out all the stuff I'm carrying. I LOVE my LL Bean bag.

This was our spot...I had just got back from standing in line for 45 mins for a foot long corn dog and a lemonade. It was so hot this night.

This night we heard the B-52s. They were really good.
