It's been a while...

Ok, it's been a while since our last post, but we're back. It's been a busy couple of months so here's a recap of what's been going on in the life of the Pittman's....

We caught a Jason Aldean show at the end of January at the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK. Great show! Opening act was Eric Church and he was pretty good as well.

We had our first good snow of the year that kept the kids out of school for a few days.
Kate and John took in an AR game which of coarse, we lost. Kate said she had a good time.
Then we had our second, record setting, snowfall of the year. Again, kids were out of school for a few days.

John took Luke to the Model Train Expo at the Clarion Inn. Luke was in wonderland with all those trains. He even got to run a few of them.

Dinner at Shogun's turned out better than we expected. We have some very picky eaters and it took some sweet talking, but they ate. Luke actually ate just about everything that was thrown his way.

We took the kids to a Women's Razorback basketball game. Once again the Hogs lost, but we had a good time. Kate really enjoyed the court seats which allowed her to see Sue E up close.

Luke got a new hair cut. Kate wanted hers buzzed to, but just a little underneath. It didn't happen. See what his hair looked like in the previous pic?

A roller skating b-day party for our friend Nicholas was a lot of fun.

Another b-day party for our friend Bryce. This was at Jump Zone...that place is crazy! Luke also had a b-day party for one of his classmates. Two trips to Jump Zone in two weeks.

We got out to the park in Bella Vista last week when the weather was near perfect! Kids enjoyed riding their bikes and playing at the play ground.

TGIF

Is it Friday already? Just kidding, this has been a LOOOONNNNGGG week for me. Me and the kids have not felt great this week. I think it's just sinuses, but have you ever wondered how your nose can run AND be stuffy? Kate almost lost her voice. She was squeaking all over the place.

Luke had his 1 yr check up this week. He only weighs 21lbs. I would have bet money he weighed 25 or more. Everything looked good. He still has his little chin rash because he is STILL drooling constantly. Kate went with us and was so nervous for Luke that she stood beside the table and nervously kept saying "it's ok little buddy, I'm right here" So sweet. Then when he was getting the shots, she was trying to cover up his cries with her laughter. She was so nervous for him. The doctor asked her if she wanted to trade Luke for a puppy and she said "no, he's my brother". I can't make this stuff up people.

We started feeling better yesterday. Today was playgroup and at 9:30 am on the playground it was like 90 degrees. We didn't stay long. Then we met Sissy and Daddy for lunch. After that home for naps. Then once everyone woke up, we went Swimming, I know right? We've been cooped up all week! After that we came home had some dinner and went back to the playground to hang out. All I can say is "I'm tired". Hope you have a great weekend!

This was taken right before Kate went to bed tonight. Luke was already asleep. I can't get over how big she is getting. I get so sad to think about how fast she is growing up.

On Friday we had playgroup. There are six kids that are all 2 years old - with Kate being the youngest. Everyone in the group, except for one mom has two children - yikes!!!! They are all the same age - 1 or less. Here is a shot of the younger crowd. It was a zoo, but a fun-zoo to say the least!

Luke, Talbey, Grant and Sullivan

Then we had a lazy Sunday, we just tried to stay warm. Kate wanted Daddy to take our picture.

Here is Luke in the sink - I love the bath shots!

I hope everyone has a great week! I have a new recipe for Tomato soup I will be posting this week. Check back!
