Is Toby Keith's new album, "That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy", showing off a softer side of the beer drinkin, bar brawlin, Ford truck loving cowboy? No songs about how good he once was or beer for his horses as this album comes across a little softer with songs like "I Got It For You Girl", "Hurt A Lot Worse When You Go" and "Lost You Anyway". Another nice departure can be found in "Missing Me Some You" which taps into the sounds of Memphis blues guitar. But if you're wanting old Toby, there are some hints of the Toby we all know in songs like "That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy" and "Creole Woman" and those may be my two favorites on the album. Overall, I think this is a pretty good album.
