Kate's Birthday gift

We finally got around to putting up Kate's birthday gift last night. John got her a 50's diner. On one side it has a kitchen and the other side is a booth, so cute. She was so excited to play with it. This morning, she got up and wanted to go right in there. John turned on the tv for her and when I went in to see her, she was sitting in the booth, drinking her milk watching mickey mouse. So. Cute.

Here are some pictures from last night.

Kate's first customer, Luke, she's giving him some coffee. No wonder he's so short.

The gift I got her was a backpack. Yep, every girl's dream for their birthday! I thought she would like it. She carries stuff over to my parent's house, to school so she needed it. It is really cute. It is really a lunch bag, but big enough to carry her apple juice and her doll named Kate.

How fun! I love play kitchen sets. I'll be over later so Kate can whip me up a chocolate malt.
