Why I love Facebook

I resisted Facebook for a long time. My husband was on it. He talked about reconnecting with friends. My friends in my playgroup were on it, they talked about their college days. I just wasn't interested in it. I did not get on the 'myspace' train. I felt too old. Was I too old for facebook? Who was on there that I would need to see? So I signed up...and boy am I'm glad I did.

I have reconnected with people that I haven't spoken to in years...people that I thought I would never find out what happened to them. I love it. Last week, my friend Becky, who I went to school with, worked with and ran around with, came to town. We had lunch. She has the best family ever. It was such a pleasure getting to meet them and see them. I'm so thankful for Facebook.

Becky and Me

Savannah and Spencer - her children. They were so funny and sweet.

Becky and Sissy. I love this picture because it really depicts the kind of lunch we had. Becky saying something extremely funny and we all laughing. Look how hard Sissy is laughing. I love it!

I can't even remember what we were laughing about - but you know it was funny. Good times! Thanks for letting me tag along. Just like the old days :)
