Weekend of Bikes, Blues & BBQ

It was Bikes, Blues and BBQ this weekend! We had family and friends come in from all over to attend the festivities!
Here is our friend Keven. My kids love Keven. They woke him up early to jump on his bed and watch Dora with him. Kate is still referring to the room he stayed in as Keven's room. Please come back to visit Keven!

John with some guys he took for a ride to Ozark on Friday.

Here is "my posse" watching the parade. From left to right - My cousin Shelby from Memphis, me, sissy and my cousin Amber from Dardanelle. We enjoyed our time with them.

Finally, it's over

Bikes, Blues and BBQ has come to an end. All my family has left today. My aunt (mother's sister) and her husband came from Pennsylvania to visit and added this event into their schedule. My cousin, Amber and her husband left today. We should be getting back to normal. Now remember, I didn't attend this year, I stayed home and cared lovingly for our beautiful children and allowed John to go and stay as long as he wanted....(remember this John) :)

Here are some pics from the last day:
This is Kevin - another friend of John's. Also, the two bikes on the right are John's, then Jareds (my cousin's husband) and then my Uncle Gary (fancy Goldwing)

More bikes

I'm glad I didn't go, because I see someone was wearing the same outfit John and I would have worn!

BBB at night

My sister (aka sissy) and my cousin went to Bikes, Blues and BBQ with John last night. I stayed home and watched the kiddos. Sissy loves riding the motorcyle. Here they are on Dickson last night.

And he cooks....

John is preparing breakfast for all his "biker" friends this am. Here is what it looks like:

Notice the computer with the recipe pulled up. He's making toast.

Bikes, Bikes and more Bikes

John spent the entire day yesterday at BBB. Most companies were allowing people to test ride all their different motorcycles - this is not what we need. He found several other bikes he would like to have - our current count of motorcycles are 3. Yep, we don't need anymore. You can only ride one at a time.

And it begins...

BBB update - Wednesday

John's friend, Keven, made it in tonight from Dallas. Keven and John have been friends since they were three, John's dad taught them how to ride motorcylces down in Ft. Smith. Keven tries to always come up for the festivities of BBB and this year is no exception. Keven is the one that John travels with on his long rides. Here is a pic of Keven washing his bike after dinner.

We will be traveling to Dallas in October for Keven's wedding to Becky. I hope she likes motorcycles.
