Birthday Weekend

We went to Tulsa for my birthday. Yes, I'm 28....again. Ok, maybe I'm too old to keep saying 28, so this year I will be 31. We had a great time. We started out at the Cheesecake Factory, they have all kinds of food. However, we always save room for Cheesecake. I ordered the Anniversary Cheesecake, however I highly recommend the Banana Creme Cheesecake. Highly. Then we were off to look at cars. My husband would have bought one Saturday if I had let him. He loves cars and I think he secretly wants to be a car salesman. Then we went to the Melting Pot, we had a really good meal. The pics are from the melting pot...note the steam...

I did not buy a new car Saturday. Although what a nice gift that would have been! I did receive a Sony Reader - love it. Can't wait to start downloading books! I got two cookbooks that I'm so excited about - Dinner, Drive-Ins and Dives and the Taste of Home cookbook. I just realize there is a theme here....

That is a horrible picture of us! Was there not better ones? Oh well, good times were still had!
