Pool time

Today we went to Gymboree and played for awhile. Kate and Luke loved it. We met two other kids (brothers actually) who are Kate and Luke's age. They pretty much had the place to themselves - and loved it. Of course, no pictures.

This afternoon we had a pool party and when I say pool party - I mean Jacob, Kate and Luke. This is Kate's pool from last year. I think it's fine for Luke, not so much for the other kids. We have a new one, but we haven't aired it up yet. I think they think they were taking a bath. Especially since Luke was naked for alittle while - hee hee.

When I put Luke to bed tonight, I told him it was his birthday tomorrow, he didn't seem to care. Look how blue his eyes are and how white his skin is, bless his heart. He doesn't get that from my husband. Just FYI, he usually wears a swim shirt.

It's Monday

John stayed home today. He slept on the couch last night (his choice) and got some sleep. He is feeling better today, he was mostly drugged up all day. The kids were especially sleepy today too. Kate woke up at 6 am this morning and I brought her back to my bed and she slept until about 8:30ish when Luke woke up. Then Luke went back down for a nap around 10:30 and slept until 12:30. Kate went down for her nap at 1 and slept until about 4:30. During this time Luke had another nap and so did Mommy :) John was pretty much in and out all day. We were a sleepy bunch today.



Jacob came over tonight and we gave him a bath with our little monkeys, but I didn't have anything for him to wear. Sissy frowns on it when I put him in Kate's clothes. So we put a t-shirt on him. So cute!

One last story: tonight I was putting Kate to bed - normally John does it and they watch tv for a little while, but when I put her to bed, we TALK. We were talking about the upcoming birthday parties and then all of a sudden she said:
K: Guess What?
ME: What?
K: I LOVE YOU!!!
I thought I was going to cry, I laughed out loud and she thought that was so funny!

Update on Us

Computer is still down. I'm seriously about to go to Best Buy and buy a new computer. My stuff is suppose to be here in the next couple of days. Many thanks to John for allowing me to use his stuff.


This weekend was yucky, however we ventured out to Razorfest. It was raining and by the time we got out of the car, it was raining so hard. Our kids were dry, but John and I did get a little wet.

Saturday night, Kirk cooked dinner for us which was very good! During that time, Kate was taking pictures.

Not bad for a 2 1/2 yr old.

Also, Luke turned 10 months old yesterday. Where did my baby go?

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend! We went to my parents house in Dardanelle. Lots of family there - we had a really good time. Warning - lots of pictures -

On Friday my cousin Amber brought over her kids to play with Kate and Luke. Cole is 5 and Kayla is the same age as Kate (2). Kayla also had a friend with her Lily. They wanted to play outside, but it was too cold!

Since it was beautiful on Saturday, we did a little shopping, had a little lunch and then let Kate have an Easter Egg Hunt. She carried her basket and Luke's.

She dressed herself. I guess I'm going to have to throw this heart jacket away, she LOVES it.

Since it was so cold and raining, we hid eggs in the house. In theory a good idea, but really it wasn't because there was candy in them. They wouldn't stop eating the candy. Here is Jacob with one of his eggs. Notice he is going for the candy.

Happy Birthday Jacob!

Today is my nephew's birthday! He is such a good little boy! We love him so much. He usually comes over on Tuesday afternoons for a little while until his mommy gets home. I love watching him push things around the house saying "DKATE".

I'm back

I've been feeling un-inspired lately with the blog, so I apologized for not posting anything lately. So get ready for some pictures...

Here is Melody and Me - we had dinner with the Winberrys for David's birthday at Herman's....that place has not changed in 10 years. For real...check out the curtains!

Meme gave Kate two goldfish the other day. Here she is showing them to her babies. The one with the green pants on is named Bob. She named her - I have no idea where Bob came from. Also, one of the fish went "home" and she said the other one is sad now. Where does she come up with this stuff?

Kate has a kitchen set outside on the deck. Here is Luke looking at Kate - he got up on her little couch to see her. Shortly after this shot, he tried to sit down and fell back.

As in the previous picture Luke is always standing up. He wants to walk so bad, he hates crawling. Here he is trying to ride Kate's motorcycle. When I put him on it, he gets so excited...big smile on his face...he loves it. I think this is a bad sign.

Here is Jacob - my adorable nephew. He was at Meme's riding in the double stroller without a passenger. He loves that thing. Seriously, loves it.
