Look Mom...I'm Marty!
You remember the scene at the beginning, where Marty (the zebra) is putting on a show for the people who came to the zoo....

Where have I been?
Monday: Dance class
Tuesday: Mother's Day Out for Kate
Wednesday: Neighborhood Playgroup
Thursday: Mother's Day Out for Kate - Next week, Luke starts. YIKES!!!
Friday: Other Playgroup
Here is some pictures we took over the last week.
This is Lilly from our Neighborhood playgroup. She and Kate are about the same age. She has a sister who is the same age as Luke. I didn't get a good picture of little Audrey. I know that her and Luke are going to be BF/GF. We are trading babysitting with Audrey/Lilly's parents. It worked out great. Kate and Luke loved having them over. They were such well-behaved children that I'm embarrassed to send my monkeys to their house! Here Kate and Lilly are reading a book.
Love that red hair!
Kate and John were driving Meme's car. Kate said - "Look Daddy!" which usually means trouble. He turned around to find this. Meme had a hat in her car and Kate thought she should wear it!Here's what Luke did. He was so mad he couldn't get down and roam around by himself.
Luke did get to ride the Carousel. He loved it.

Finally Pictures!
Notice the baseballs? Luke would not give them up. In the first picture he is holding one. He played with them the whole time.

Pool time
This afternoon we had a pool party and when I say pool party - I mean Jacob, Kate and Luke. This is Kate's pool from last year. I think it's fine for Luke, not so much for the other kids. We have a new one, but we haven't aired it up yet. I think they think they were taking a bath. Especially since Luke was naked for alittle while - hee hee.
Check out who Kate is 'relaxing'. She wanted to lay down the whole time.
I don't know if you can tell, all three of them are in there. Crowded!
This is one of my favorite pics! Love it. Just a little crack...
When I put Luke to bed tonight, I told him it was his birthday tomorrow, he didn't seem to care. Look how blue his eyes are and how white his skin is, bless his heart. He doesn't get that from my husband. Just FYI, he usually wears a swim shirt.

While Mommy is away...
Well, since Mommy is away, hopefully having a good time at Memphis in May, I thought I'd send out a little blog update on how we're holding up at the house.
We're having a good time around the house. My mother came up to help me look after little Kate and Luke. I think they're all having a great time with each other. With the exception of today so far, both Kate and Luke have had a lot of outside time. Walks, the park and just hanging out on the deck with Grandma has been a good time for the kiddos.
Oh, and one more thing. Check out this video. Luke is turning into a walking machine. Amazing how quick they figure things out and how much progress they can make overnight.

Update on Us
This weekend was yucky, however we ventured out to Razorfest. It was raining and by the time we got out of the car, it was raining so hard. Our kids were dry, but John and I did get a little wet.
Saturday night, Kirk cooked dinner for us which was very good! During that time, Kate was taking pictures.
Not bad for a 2 1/2 yr old.
Also, Luke turned 10 months old yesterday. Where did my baby go?

Easter Weekend
She's been eating the candy...notice the chocolate lips.
Kate relaxing with her new friend - Jasper. She LOVES Jasper. She wanted her Daddy to "get her a Jasper."
On Sunday we got dressed up and went to Church with Meme and Pappaw.
After Church, Luke and John fell asleep - before Lunch.
Since it was so cold and raining, we hid eggs in the house. In theory a good idea, but really it wasn't because there was candy in them. They wouldn't stop eating the candy. Here is Jacob with one of his eggs. Notice he is going for the candy.
Kate looking for Eggs.
Jacob with his rabbit ears on.
Jacob and Kate - this is the best we could get. Kate was crying hard right before this picture. I can't believe she managed a smile.
After dinner we were hanging out with Luke. Sissy and Luke, my cousins Amber and Shelby.
Luke w/his Rabbit ears.
The Rabbit cake. John called it an upside down tooth cake and my Dad called it a cake with a big piece missing out of it.
I hope everyone had a Good Easter Weekend!
