Since I've read The Happiness Project which I blogged about here, I have been on this "happiness" kick. I found this new website and it's about things that make this guy happy...simple things like - finding a curly fry in your french fries. So cute, I hope you enjoy it too.

I will tell you what I'm obsessed with at the moment: Clothes. Yes. Clothes. I don't know why considering all my clothes are black or white. Really that's it. If you see me, you can go to bet the house, I will have on a black or white shirt.

New Favorite Website!

Fab Finds Under $50: This lady post a picture of herself everyday and then blogs about her outfit. I'm amazed. Her finds are fabulous. She prides herself in finding very inexpensive clothing and then makes it look high-end. She puts together a Monthly Inspiration calendar to help you put your clothes together. Very cool. Click on ANY of her sites she follows and you will find a whole community who takes pictures of their clothes and blogs about it. I'm going to do that.
Here's my first one. (tee hee).

This is from this weekend. After a long day, we decided to make s'mores. It had started to thunder and was about to start raining. I choose to wear my black (imagine that) shorts and my white (really?) top. No surprise there. Shoes - I've had these for years. My feet were really dirty from the day before wearing flip flops in the woods, so I chose the orthopedic, tourist look. I think I pulled it off...NOT! Kate on the other hand, in her stylist pjs...looks rockin!

All kidding aside, this girl, makes me what to dress a little better every day! Please share with me some of your favorite websites. I'm getting bored with mine.

Ok, I'm on my way out of town for a Girl's Weekend (does it count if the 'girls' are my mother and aunt?) anyway, I thought I would include more of my favorite websites:

#1 - Simple Mom - She is an expat who writes about living simply and staying sane, life hacks for home managers. She has a book club on Thursdays.

#2 - A Little Sussy - she is a photographer and a chef, I know right? She is mainly a photographer now, and has some amazing photos. She posts the cutest stuff. She is also thinking about an online photography class.

#3 - Stephmodo - this is such a neat blog. She writes about design, food, fashion, everything.

#4 - Like Merchant Ships - this is a blog for home managers regarding saving money. I love this lady. She has three kids and makes shopping at thrift stores really cool. I emailed her onetime with a question, she answered me back and I swear we are best friends now! (I wished)

#5 - Elements of Style - she is an interior designer who is always thinking what I'm thinking. She has great taste and I totally want her to re-do my space.

#6 - Style Observer - Fun, fashion blog.

#7 - Le Quaintrelle - this girl is crazy about fashion, but she shops at Target, Forever 21, etc. All her outfit ideas make me want to burn my clothes.

#8 - Hair on the Brain - This blog is about hair - famous and non-famous. Her latest post shows us how to create a face-framing braid. I want to try on Kate!

#9 - Party Perfect - Great ideas on all kinds of party celebrations. Can't wait to plan Luke's Big #1!

#10 - My First Kitchen - I had to throw in a food website. I like this guy. Her food always looks really good - for example - Buttermilk Cinnamon Rolls - please someone make these for me.

My Favorite Websites

I thought I would share with you my favorite websites. I look at dozens everyday. I really have to watch myself or I will surf blog/websites for hours. These are ones that I look at everyday no matter what:

1) People.com - Don't judge...you will love this site too. I use to want a subscription to the magazine, but after I discovered this site, there is no need to pay the money for the subscription.

2) Celebrity-Baby Blog - Once again, don't judge. I love this site. I know, I'm feeding the paparazzi frenzy, but this blog is all about babies. They also have shopping guides and product reviews. Where else would I find out which dress Suri is wearing?

3) Design Mom - This lady is amazing, she has five children, she is an art director, very talented, cool, etc. Her blog is a breath of fresh air. She is very creative and her blog is so neat. I'm really not doing her justice, just read it. I want her to be my friend.

4) Coupon Cravings - This is where I find out all my "free stuff" Seriously, did you know that I'm getting 7 free yearly magazine subscriptions in the mail. 7! In addition to the magazines, she posts about other free stuff too.

5) Oh Happy Day - She is #3's, sister. This is like the most talented family. She is a party planner and has the greatest, neatest ideas.

6) Motherlode.com - this is a local website for Northwest Arkansas. They have some neat giveaways sometimes...for example - their sponsor is giving away a washer/dryer this week.

7) No time for Flash Cards - This is one of my favorite sites to find 'easy' crafts for my children...ok, Kate.

8) Make and Takes - This is another craft site, geared toward older kids and she has things other than crafts...activities, etc.

9)This week for dinner - Food site - whenever I feel overwhelmed about making dinner or needing to put together a menu, I go here...whether I use a recipe or not, she makes me feel better.

10) Frugal Fashionista - Fashion site - this site shows you how to dress like a celebrity (ok, so I'm obsessed) without spending all that money.

I will stop there, I have probably 30 more sites I could share, but I will save for a later date.
